We want to bring the joy back to motherhood. We believe mums deserve more than feeling stuck in survival mode. That’s why we’ve created a space where mums can swap stories, share the load, and build their villageβ€”together.

Mum Walk is on a mission to make early motherhood feel good again! We’re a mum-led movement to make sure #NoMumWalksAlone.

Why?
Because over 90% of mums report feeling lonely after birth. And 1 in 5 mums will develop postpartum depression or anxiety.

Mum Walk exists to end the isolation that comes with being a mum and connect you with other mums in the real world.

That’s why we’re building Australia’s leading community platform to find your mum friends. Because postpartum isolation isn’t just boring - its BAD for your health!

Mum Walk is more than just a walk in the park; it's a proactive approach to promoting positive maternal mental health outcomes for mums.

More than your ordinary mums groups.

β€œSocial pram walking groups are proven to decrease risks of postpartum depression more than stationary social support groups”

β€œMum Walk was a consistent presence in my calendar in the early days of motherhood. I loved that it is low pressure, free and it made sure I got fresh air that day. I’m so grateful I also met some of my closest mum friends in the area.”

Why Mum Walk?

  • Three women smiling outdoors with greenery in the background. They are standing close together, with one woman holding a stroller.

    Community at the centre

We want early parenthood to feel good again. Postpartum isolation is a key risk factor for mums to develop postpartum depression. So we create safe and shame-free spaces for mums to bring their true selves and share stories.

    Promoting postnatal mental health

There’s so few options out there that focus on helping mums connect and feel good post-birth. Instead of baby-focussed classes, Mum Walk puts mums at the centre to improve the mental health outcomes of mums.

  • Two women smiling while pushing strollers on a trail in a wooded outdoor setting.

    Mum friendly movement

Our walks encourage gentle postpartum movement that embraces your body’s unique needs during the postpartum season. While you may work up a light sweat, our strolls are designed to help you improve your mental and physical health with a gentle approach.
